ELDERFLOWER PUNCH

Ingredients:
200ml Darnley’s Original Gin
500ml Pressed Apple Juice
200ml Elderflower Cordial
100ml Lemon Juice
10ml Absinthe (adds an optional herb taste)
Lemon Wheels
Mint Leaves

Method
Add all to a large serving jug or carafe and fill with ice. Give it a good stir and enjoy with friends.

DARNLEY'S HOT GIN PUNCH

HOT GIN PUNCH

Ingredients
50ml Darnley’s Spiced Gin
120ml Premium Ginger Beer
70ml Cloudy Apple Juice
10ml Fresh Lime Juice
Cinnamon Stick (optional)
Garnish Apple slices
Serve Wine glass

Method
Add all ingredients (except gin) into a pot over medium-high heat. Feel free to add a cinnamon stick for extra festive spice. Let it reach a simmer, then turn off the heat. Pour 25ml of Darnley’s Spiced Gin into each glass. Ladle desired amount of punch into each glass and garnish with sliced apple.

BURNISHED BARLEY

Ingredients
50ml Darnley’s Smoke and Zest
10ml Lemon Cordial
15ml Thyme Sugar Syrup
Top with Tonic
Lemon Wheel
Thyme

Method
Add 50ml of gin to a glass filled with ice, then add your cordial and sugar syrup. Top with a good quality tonic and garnish with a lemon wheel and thyme sprig.

DARNLEY'S DELIGHT

Ingredients
50 ml Darnley’s Original Gin
50 ml Pineapple Juice
10ml Dry Vermouth
Dash Sugar Syrup
Dash Angostura Bitters

Method
Pour all ingredients into a shaker over ice and shake rapidly. Double strain into glass. Garnish 3 drops Angostura Bitters.

GRAPEFRUIT SPARKLER

Ingredients
25ml Darnley’s Original Gin
10ml St. Germain
Prosecco
¼ Grapefruit Juiced

Method
Shake all the ingredients, apart from Prosecco, with ice and pour into a champagne flute. Top with prosecco and garnish with grapefruit peel and a sprig of thyme if desired.

GOOD TIDINGS

Ingredients
50ml Darnley’s Navy Strength Gin
Figs
10ml Sugar Syrup
Pomegranate juice
Tonic
Basil

Method
Muddle the figs, basil and sugar syrup in the bottom of a tall glass. Fill the glass with ice and then add your measure of Darnley’s Navy Strength Gin. A splash of pomegranate juice and then top with tonic. Garnish with a basil leaf.

SPICED PEAR

Ingredients
50ml Darnley’s Spiced Gin
25ml Lemon Juice
25ml Pear Syrup
1 Egg White

Method
Put all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker without ice and shake vigorously. Open the shaker, fill with ice and shake again, then strain into a chilled coupe. Place a star anise on the foam to serve.

SPICED RED SNAPPER

Ingredients
50ml Darnley’s Spiced Gin
75ml Tomato Juice
10ml Fresh Orange Juice
Juice Half Lime
3 dashes Tabasco
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 grinds Black Pepper
2 tsps Sherry
Celery Salt (optional)
Celery

Method
Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and then dip the wet rim into the celery salt. Fill the glass with ice then add Darnley’s Spiced Gin, tomato, lime and orange juices and the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces. Float sherry on top and grind black pepper. Garnish with a celery stick.
