The botanicals at the heart of this London Dry Gin are rowan berries foraged in the surrounding undergrowth and locally-grown barley in our Kingsbarns Distillery whisky, smoked over pine wood chips. Infused with another five botanicals, including coriander from the cottage garden, this limited edition gin illuminates the fruity complexities of locally sourced produce awash with a smoky element to finish.
Our distiller enlisted the help of his family who owned a commercial smoker, to steep and slowly smoke the malted Kingsbarns barely over pine wood chips. The introduction of Lapsang Souchong tea, also traditionally smoked over pine wood, brings an exotic second smoky botanical intro the recipe with cool menthol notes.
ABV 42.5%
